CARE: Handle the M253 with care, avoid contact with chemicals, water and direct sunlight. To keep lenses clean use the cleaning cloth provided. Also do not reflect sunlight as it is a FIRE HAZARD.
BATTERIES: Model M253 12 LED Jumbo Handheld Magnifying Glass must have its batteries installed prior to use, follow the steps below:
1. Open the battery compartment cover by using the removal tool in the flip to storage case as pictured below. Insert the tabs of the tool into the holes on the cover and twist counter clockwise.
2. Remove the 3 LR1130 batteries provided and reinsert them in the battery compartment.
3. The negative end of each battery should be placed against the positive end of the other battery. Â
4. The negitive end of the stack of batteries should be at the bottom of the battery chamber with the positve end of the stack facing up.
5. Close the battery compartment by using the tool provide to twist the cover clockwise.
6. Test magnifier LED light by moving the ON/OFF switch to the right and for the currency detection light move it to the left.Â
7. If the LED lights do not shine, check the orientation of batteries and try ON/OFF switch again.
8. If the LED lights still don't light try new batteries.
