CARE: Handle the M277 with care, avoid contact with chemicals, water and direct sunlight. To keep lenses clean use the cleaning cloth provided. Also do not reflect sunlight as it is a FIRE HAZARD.
BATTERIES: Model M277 Folding Pocket Magnifier comes with its batteries preinstalled. Open the folding magnifier until the light shines. If the light does not shine follow the steps below:
1. Twist counter clockwise the battery compartment cover by placing your thumb nail of your left hand and your index finger nail of your right hand in the dents of the cover.Â
2. Remove the 2 CR1620 batteries provided.
3. Reinsert these batteries with the negative end of each battery down.Â
4. If you have questions about orientation, see the sign on the battery cover compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment by by twisting the cover clockwise.
6. Test magnifier LED light by unfolding the magnifier to the fully extended postion.
7. If the LED lights do not shine, check the orientation of batteries and try again.
8. If the LED lights still don't light try new batteries.
